The 8 Best Investing Apps (2,021 Reviews)

Webull is the best investment app for those on a budget. It also brings an impressive assortment of tools to the table. However, the reason it’s not higher on our list is that it leaves a bit to be desired when it comes to educational content for beginners.

Webull’s minimalist interface makes it super easy to navigate. Since minimalism may not seem particularly appealing to some, we have to mention that adding some extra detail to its design would make it way too complicated, even for an advanced user.

We don’t think Webull should be considered one of the best investing apps for newbies just because it provides an abundance of charts and graphs, which can be confusing for someone with no experience whatsoever. Having said that, the problem could easily be fixed with a few informative guides.

On the bright side, everything we’ve mentioned so far makes Webull a great option for intermediate or advanced investors.

Investment options

You can invest in stocks, ETFs, options, ADRs, as well as cryptocurrencies, and while these are some of the more popular trading options, it is a shame that mutual funds, contracts, term and bonds are not available to you.

On the flip side, Webull might actually be the best app for investing in cryptocurrencies. It allows crypto trading anytime, seven days a week, and currently supports Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Zcash, Ethereum Classic, and Stella Lumens with more options along the way.

Many investment platforms are free but charge a trading and contract fee. Webull does not; there is absolutely no commission you will need to cover. The business earns money through payments for order flow, interest credit balances, equity loans, and margin interest. Due to the lack of commissions, we feel comfortable giving Webull a place among the best investment apps for students, specifically students who are continuing their education and therefore have limited funds.

When using the app, you will need to pay fees from some regulatory bodies. However, Webull does not take advantage of these fees.

Opening a Webull brokerage account comes with one free share valued between $ 3 and $ 300. But that’s not all. If you deposit at least $ 100, you will receive an additional share of an increasingly higher value (between $ 8 and $ 2,000).

You will have the opportunity to acquire shares of well-known companies such as Google, Procter & Gamble, Kraft Heinz, Facebook, Starbucks and Snap.

Customer service

Good investing apps need to be backed by a great customer support team, and Webull ticks that box. Its representatives are reachable 24/7 by phone, email and various social media channels. But thanks to the detailed information available in the Help section, you may not need additional help.
