Entry ban for vehicles from the Transdniestrian region of Moldova without a neutral sample license plate comes into force
Since September 1, Ukraine has banned the entry of cars from the Transnistria region of Moldova that do not have neutral license plates.
The press service of the Interior Ministry said in a statement, the Ukrainian news agency reports.
In accordance with the instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers and the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from September 1, only vehicles from the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova that will have license plates of an approved sample and So-called neutral plates, will be allowed to participate in international traffic, with other vehicles registered in accordance with the legislation of Moldova.
The national border guard service clarified all questions of interaction with the units of the national customs service concerning the procedure for refusing passage of these vehicles and the units of the national police on the procedure to be followed in the event of detection of such vehicles in controlled border areas.
Information on these changes through the apparatus of border representatives has been communicated to the Moldovan side.
The procedure for accounting, registration and declaration of vehicles transported across the state border is governed by the customs legislation of Ukraine.
